Overview
Qorlyraxiz provides professional photography services for private events. This Return Policy outlines our terms regarding cancellations, refunds, and service modifications. Please read this policy carefully before booking our services.
Service Nature
Photography services are custom, time-based professional services that are provided on a specific date. Once services are rendered, they cannot be "returned" in the traditional sense. However, we have established fair policies for cancellations, rescheduling, and service concerns.
Booking Deposits
A deposit is required to secure your event date. Deposit terms are as follows:
- Deposits are typically 50% of the total service fee
- Deposits secure your date and are applied toward your total balance
- The remaining balance is due according to the terms specified in your service agreement
Cancellation by Client
If you need to cancel your photography booking, the following terms apply:
Cancellation More Than 30 Days Before Event:
- If you cancel more than 30 days before your scheduled event date, you may receive a partial refund of your deposit, minus a $100 CAD administrative fee
- Alternatively, you may apply your deposit toward a future booking within 12 months
Cancellation 14-30 Days Before Event:
- If you cancel between 14 and 30 days before your event, the deposit is non-refundable
- You may apply 50% of your deposit toward a future booking within 12 months, subject to availability
Cancellation Less Than 14 Days Before Event:
- Cancellations made less than 14 days before the event date forfeit the full deposit
- If payment in full has been made, 50% of the total amount may be refunded, at our discretion
Rescheduling
We understand that circumstances may require rescheduling your event:
- More Than 30 Days Notice: Rescheduling is allowed with no penalty, subject to our availability
- 14-30 Days Notice: Rescheduling may incur a $50 CAD rescheduling fee, subject to our availability
- Less Than 14 Days Notice: Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur additional fees
- You may reschedule your event once without penalty if done more than 30 days in advance
Cancellation by Qorlyraxiz
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your booking:
- You will receive a full refund of all payments made
- We will make every effort to provide at least 14 days' notice
- We will assist in finding a replacement photographer if possible
- We are not responsible for any additional costs you may incur due to our cancellation
Service Satisfaction and Complaints
Our goal is to provide exceptional photography services. If you have concerns about the services provided:
- Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your final images
- We will work with you to address any legitimate concerns
- We may offer re-editing, additional images, or other solutions as appropriate
- Refunds are considered only in cases of significant service failure, at our sole discretion
Digital Products
Digital photography files are provided as-is once delivered:
- All sales of digital image packages are final once files are delivered
- We do not offer refunds for digital files once they have been downloaded
- If technical issues prevent you from accessing your files, we will provide alternative delivery methods
Physical Products
For physical products such as photo albums or prints:
- If a product arrives damaged, contact us within 14 days of receipt
- We will replace damaged items at no additional cost
- Returns for undamaged items are not accepted due to the custom nature of our products
Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, government restrictions, or illness. In such cases:
- We will work with you to reschedule services when possible
- If rescheduling is not possible, a prorated refund may be provided
Refund Processing
If a refund is approved:
- Refunds will be processed within 14 business days
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used
- Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution
Disputes
If you have a dispute regarding our services or this policy, please contact us directly. We are committed to resolving any concerns in good faith. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Return Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. The policy that applies to your booking is the one in effect at the time you make your reservation.
